RICE, EXCELLENT FOOD! Children and kids must follow a balanced diet, to grow healthy and strong. This means that, our body needs different nutritive growing principles, present in different kinds of food, to harmoniously grow up. Rice is good, because it contains a lot of carbohydrates and B1, B2 and B3 vitamins besides, it contains small quantities of cholesterol and sodium and it is gluten free. In additio to rice, we should also eat: Fruits and vegetables because, being rich in fibres, they guarantee a right intestine working. Milk, Fish and Meat, because they contain proteins. Proteins are our body bricks, they contribute to make our blood healthy, they help us to digest and to have more muscular strenght. You can also find them in pulses, eggs and dried fruits.
Pasta and Bread, because, as rice, they contain carbohydrates and give us a lot of energy.
